BevWatch has been designed with your privacy in mind, which is why we don’t collect any of your personally identifiable information. That being said, BevWatch can collect certain data from users who are 16 years of age and older. The data BevWatch collects is anonymized and not linked to any of your personally identifiable information, because we never had it in the first place. As a result, if you delete the app or re-download the app on a new device, you will not have access to any of your historical data unless it is kept in the Health App (premium version).
Turning off data collection is possible for any user who wishes to do so by following the four steps below:
1) Go to Settings by tapping the gear icon in the top right corner.
2) Click on About BevWatch
3) Quickly tap the version number about ten times.
4) You will see a notification below the version number when data collection is turned off.
All of the data BevWatch collects from your app is deidentified to help protect your personal information. Because it is deidentified, BevWatch cannot associate any data collected with your specific account, and as a result, BevWatch is not currently subject to The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) requirements. While we cannot currently delete or provide additional information about data collected from your app and/or devices, you can always turn off data collection by following the instructions above.
